In early-2005, the two groups announced a cooperation agreement concerning new 4WD vehicles. The agreement provides for the production in Japan of 30,000 units a year for the Peugeot and Citroën ranges. The Peugeot 4007 and Citroën C-Crosser, launched in mid-2007, will be equipped with the Group’s latest HDi DPFS diesel engines.
In early-2007, PSA Peugeot Citroën and Mitsubishi announced that PSA Peugeot Citroën would be supplying Mitsubishi with its 2.2-litre HDi DPFS diesel engine. This engine will be fitted on the Outlander.
