05/20/2008 - Russia : to accelerate their growth, PSA Peugeot Citroën and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation set up a joint venture
Christian Streiff, Chairman of the Board of PSA Peugeot Citroën and Osamu Masuko, President of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), have signed a joint venture agreement to produce vehicles for 3 brands, Peugeot, Citroën and Mitsubishi in Russia.
06/08/2007 - Agreement on volume production of Peugeot and Citroën vehicles in Russia
On 9 June, Christian Streiff, Chairman of PSA Peugeot Citroën, and German Gref, Russia’s minister for economic development and trade, will sign an agreement on volume production of Peugeot and Citroën vehicles in Russia.
09/04/2006 - New compact saloon in China
Citroën is releasing a new model in China at the end of the year. Developed specially for the local market, the vehicle extends the Marque’s Chinese range, which includes the Fukang, Elysée, Xsara Picasso, C-Triomphe, C5 and, soon, the C6. The new compact 5-door saloon is based on the Peugeot 206 platform and will be built at the Wuhan site.
06/13/2006 - Production of 307 Sedan launched in Argentina
Group chairman Jean-Martin Folz and Peugeot managing director Frédéric Saint Geours inaugurated the production line for the 307 Sedan at the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant at Buenos Aires in a ceremony also attended by the president of Argentina. This 307 tri-body, which will be the fifth model manufactured in Argentina, expands the Peugeot range in a segment that represents one-third of the Argentine market and one-quarter of the Latin American market.

05/03/2006 - China: the C-Triomphe rolls off the assembly lines at Wuhan
On 28 April, at an event attended by Jean-Martin Folz, Chairman of PSA Peugeot Citroën, and personalities from DPCA*, the new Citroën C-Triomphe made a triumphant production debut at the Wuhan production site.
04/03/2006 - Rapid growth for PSA Peugeot Citroën in China
Dongfeng Motor Group and PSA Peugeot Citroën have announced that they will be expanding their activities in China through their joint-venture company, DPCA. The production capacity of the Wuhan plant will be doubled to 300,000 units by 2008, and the decision has been made to look for a new production facility.
02/20/2006 - China: Presentation of the new Citroën C-Triomphe, produced in Wuhan
In Shenzen on 18 February, Claude Satinet, Managing Director of Citroën, unveiled a new Citroën model that will be released in China in second-quarter 2006: C-Triomphe. This modern, innovative saloon – measuring 4.8 m long and 1.77 m wide – features all the characteristics and innovations currently driving the success of the C4, while adopting the notchback body style preferred by the Chinese market. C-Triomphe is the eighth Group model to be manufactured at the Wuhan site (in Hubei province), which assembled more than 140,000 Peugeot and Citroën vehicles in 2005.
01/06/2006 - China: Presenting the new Dongfeng Peugeot 206 produced in Wuhan
On January 6, Peugeot Managing Director Frédéric Saint-Geours unveiled the Dongfeng Peugeot 206 produced at the Wuhan plant to some 350 journalists and 80 car dealers gathered in Beijing.
11/12/2004 - PSA Peugeot Citroën begins production of the Peugeot 206 SW in Porto Real, Brazil
At a ceremony attended by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of Brazil, and Rosinha Garotinho, Governor of Rio de Janeiro State, Jean-Martin Folz, CEO of PSA Peugeot Citroën, announced on November 11 that production of the Peugeot 206 SW had begun at the Porto Real plant in Brazil.
10/11/2004 - PSA Peugeot Citroën partners the Year of France in China
PSA Peugeot Citroën is present in China through its joint-venture Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobiles (DPCA), so it was a natural partner for the Year of France in China. The Group is scheduled to take part in a host of events, either directly or through the Peugeot and Citroën brands. Jean-Martin Folz accompanied France's President of the Republic on his state visit to China, which ended on 12 October.

03/23/2004 - Peugeot 307 goes into production in Buenos Aires
On 23 March, Nestor Kirchner, President of the Argentinean Republic, and Jean-Martin Folz, Chairman of PSA Peugeot Citroën, inaugurated the new production lines built for the Peugeot 307 at the Group's Buenos Aires plant. This event follows the announcement made last year by the Group, concerning the planned investment of €50 million for the production of the 307.
01/07/2004 - The Group will Double its Production Capacity in China
Jean-Martin Folz, CEO of PSA Peugeot Citroën, and Miao Wei, Chairman of Dong Feng Motors, have just announced that production capacity for the Dong Feng Peugeot Citroën Automobiles (DPCA) joint venture will be increased to 300,000 vehicles a year.

PSA Peugeot Citroën begins manufacturing the Citroën C3 at its Porto Real plant in Brazil. 15,000 Citroën C3 cars will be produced in the first year to serve demand in the Mercosur countries.
04/10/2002 - Groundbreaking for the Joint PSA Peugeot Citroën/Toyota Plant in the Czech Republic
Jean-Martin Folz, Chairman of PSA Peugeot Citroën, and Fujio Cho, President of Toyota Motor Corporation, have officially broken ground for their joint plant in Kolin, 60 kilometers east of Prague in the Czech Republic.
