12/02/2009 - The 5008, Peugeot’s compact MPV, scores five stars in EuroNCAP tests
The tests were made as part of the more stringent 2009 EuroNCAP protocol, known as "global rating". This rating groups all the scores obtained on the criteria of adult, child and pedestrian protection, while factoring in assistance systems (seatbelt warnings, speed limiter, ESP). Following in the footsteps of the 3008, Peugeot’s compact crossover, the 5008 also scored five stars in the new test.

09/07/2009 - The new Peugeot electric car: i0n "Zero Emissions"
Peugeot, the pioneer and 1st worldwide manufacturer of electric vehicles will be launching the ion at the end of 2010. Its performance and 130 km operating range is obtained in particular due to the use of lithium-ion batteries, which will provide an efficient response to the challenges of urban mobility and respect for the environment.

The new Citroën C3 has obtained an overall score of four stars in EuroNCAP’s new, more severe rating protocol.
06/17/2009 - PSA Peugeot Citroën Wins Prestigious International Engine of the Year Award for Third Year in a Row
The International Engine of the Year award in the 1.4-litre to 1.8-litre category was once again won by the 1.6-litre, four-cylinder direct injection turbo petrol engine designed by PSA Peugeot Citroën in cooperation with BMW Group.
02/20/2009 - More stringent EuroNCAP rating system
EuroNCAP rounds out existing European regulation in terms of impact with more stringent standards. EU regulation suffices for homologating vehicles for sale in Europe, while EuroNCAP is the consumer benchmark. Old and new EuroNCAP rating systems coexist. The first Group vehicle tested with the new system is the C3 Picasso, which obtained 4 stars according to 2009 criteria.
