Fourteen Suppliers Honoured by PSA Peugeot Citroën
Yesterday, for the fifth year in a row, the PSA Peugeot Citroën Purchasing Department presented its Best Supplier Awards. The honours were given to 14 of the Group’s 800 suppliers by Christian Streiff, Chairman of the Group, Jean-Christophe Quemard, Vice-President Purchasing, and members of the senior management team.
The awards recognized the 2008 performance of suppliers from France, other European countries and around the world for their relationship with PSA Peugeot Citroën in four critical categories: quality, innovation, parts and services and cost management.
Nominees in each category were judged according to the same criteria regardless of their size, from SMEs to multinationals.
The following criteria were considered:
Winners: Aisin, Bosch Diesel, Tramico, Snop, Loire Etude and Fanuc Robotics
Winners: Dana Victor Reinz and KYB
Winners: JTEKT and Faurecia
Winners: Bleistahl and Leoni
For the first time, a Jury’s Special Prize was awarded to a supplier for supporting the Group’s sustainable development commitment.
Winner: SARP Industries
A Jury’s Special Prize was also awarded to a supplier for demonstrating supply chain excellence.
Winner: Sora Composites
