Christophe Bergerand appointed Director of the Peugeot and Citroën retails
Olivier Veyrier appointed Director French Sales, Peugeot
Christophe Bergerand, Director French Sales, Peugeot has been chosen to head the Peugeot and Citroën retails as from 15 March 2010. He will report to Jean-Marc Gales, Executive Vice President Brands.
Olivier Veyrier will replace Mr. Bergerand as Director French Sales, Peugeot as of the same date. He will report to Jean-Marc Gales in his capacity as Executive Vice President, Peugeot Brand.
A graduate of Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and HEC business school, Christophe Bergerand, 46, joined Automobiles Peugeot in 1988 and held various positions within Sales and Marketing, France. He was appointed Managing Director of subsidiary Darl’Mat in Paris in 2000, Vice President of Peugeot Portugal in 2001 and Vice President of Peugeot Italy in 2003. On 1 February 2008, Mr. Bergerand was appointed Director French Sales, Peugeot.
He will replace Jean-Claude Play, who has decided to retire.
Olivier Veyrier, 52, is a graduate of ESCP business school. He joined Peugeot in 1980. After serving as Managing Director of subsidiary Paris XII, Mr. Veyrier was chosen to lead the regional headquarters in Nancy in 1993. Between 1995 and 2001, he oversaw the management and development of the Peugeot network. Mr. Veyrier then served as Vice President of Peugeot Germany for four years. In 2007, he became Vice President After-Sales Service for the Peugeot Brand and then Vice President Warranties for the Group. He has been CEO of automobile retailer PGA since 2008.
Mr. Veyrier replaces Christophe Bergerand, who has been appointed Director of the Peugeot and Citroën retails.
