PSA Peugeot Citroën's Climate Commitment

Diesel particulate filter (DPF)
The 3-millionth vehicle equipped with a DPF (diesel particulate filter) — a Peugeot 207 1.6 HDi — rolled off the assembly line at the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant in Poissy, France.

HYbrid4: Hybrid 4 wheel drive
New hybrid HDi architecture innovative and ingenious with real advantages for the environment and users.

Hybrid HDi technology
PSA Peugeot Citroën, world leader in diesel technology, will launch hybrid HDi vehicles in 2010. Find out how these vehicles work and how they reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Lane Departure Warning System
One of PSA Peugeot Citroën's most recent innovations in accident prevention, LDWS strengthens onboard safety.

Stop & Start
Already available on several Group vehicles, including the Citroën C2 and C3, the Stop & Start system reduces fuel consumption by as much as 15% in the city.

Particulate filter
Launched as a world first by PSA Peugeot Citroën in 2000, the particulate filter has already been fitted on more than 1.5 million Peugeot and Citroën vehicles.

GENEPAC fuel cell
The fuel cell may well rank among future forms of vehicle propulsion. PSA Peugeot Citroën has already developed France's first fuel cell for cars, GENEPAC, in partnership with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).

Impact tests
A total of nine Peugeot and Citroën vehicles have obtained the maximum five-star score in EuroNCAP impact tests. Test pictures:

PSA Peugeot Citroën at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show
Green cars dominate this year’s show (the 63rd), with a panoply of new city cars, electric vehicles, hybrids and down-sized engines. Innovation is embodied this year by the new Citroën C3 and DS3, making their world debuts, and the REVOLTE concept car, also with the new Peugeot 5008, RCZ, RCZ HYbrid4, 3008 HYbrid4, the all-electric iOn, and the astonishing BB1, an electric urban concept car measuring just 2.50 m long.

On 20 November 1858, Emile Peugeot filed a brand patent representing a lion, with and without an arrow. Today, the lion is recognised as the universal symbol of Peugeot products, which are distributed in more than 150 countries around the world.

Extension of the supply of utilities
The new Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Partner are produced on the site of Vigo (Spain) with an industrial potential of 300 000 vehicles a year.

Car's manufactory : traditional expertise and high-tech
Each day more than 10.000 vehicles are manufactured by PSA Peugeot Citroën's factories. To realise this valor almost 80.000 men and women give their skills.

SevelNord site
To manufacture the new compact vans and combis developed as part of the PSA Peugeot Citroën – Fiat cooperation agreement, workshops have been modernised, logistics systems redesigned and ergonomics enhanced.
