For the Group, social and environmental responsibility means taking into account the social, economic and environmental impact of its activities in its relations with employees, suppliers and all stakeholders in order to adopt the best practices possible.

Its objective: to protect the environment and provide a satisfactory, motivating working environment for employees while contributing to efforts to support civil society, through sponsorship initiatives in particular.

With a workforce of over 200,000 and industrial and commercial business locations around the world, the Group is fully aware of the impact of all its activities. For this reason, it put in place an SER (social and environmental responsibility) strategy some years ago, reflecting its role in the global economy.

This strategy is based on three key objectives:

  • be a major player in sustainable mobility,
  • be actively involved in the regions where the Group operates,
  • deploy a responsible human resources policy.
